Mission
A biotechnology startup was building a product that rests entirely on its software: read a measurement, turn it into a recommendation, deliver it to their customers. That meant building the platform underneath it. I have co-developed the core application and its admin interface since the start, wrote the engine that computes the recommendations, and single-handedly built the chain that lets their image-analysis models be trained, evaluated and put into service reproducibly — where it had until then been manual work that was hard to replay.
Technical details
NestJS backend and React backoffice, paired on both main repositories. Python (FastAPI) computation and recommendation engine wired to the backend. Computer vision pipeline of which I am the lead author: datasets versioned with DVC on object storage, successive training iterations on Vertex AI, models exported to ONNX for real-time serving on the engine side. Involvement in architecture trade-offs and key technical decisions.
